Background

For more than three decades Ken Burns has produced and directed some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made. This project included the modernization and migration of 30+ bespoke film websites into a new CMS on PBS.org.

My Role

• Starting at its conception, I served as the lead strategist for this complex project

• Lead the team of project managers, site producers, and product developers

• Served as main POC with the filmmaker and key stakeholders

• Secured more than $500,000 in project funding

Key Results

• By creating this new unified experience, we laid the groundwork for significant cost-savings on future websites for upcoming Ken Burns films
